The 15th Annual THIMUN Qatar Conference 2026 opened with a formal ceremony, bringing together delegates from around the world for a week of diplomacy, debate, and collaboration.
Stepping into diplomacy, collaboration, and global dialogue at THIMUN — Day 1.
This photo captures the start of an engaging THIMUN MUN experience, where delegates came together to discuss global issues through structured debate and cooperation. Day 1 was filled with formal committee sessions, active discussions, and the exchange of diverse perspectives from students around the world. Representing my country encouraged me to think critically, communicate clearly, and stay open-minded while building alliances and exploring possible solutions. From setting the agenda to drafting ideas, the day highlighted how Model United Nations strengthens leadership, teamwork, and global awareness while addressing real-world challenges.
Building ideas into action — THIMUN Day 2.
Day 2 at THIMUN was focused on deeper debate, collaboration, and refining resolutions. Committee sessions became more dynamic as delegates negotiated clauses, formed alliances, and worked toward balanced solutions to complex global issues. Through constructive dialogue and diplomacy, different perspectives were challenged and strengthened. The experience highlighted the importance of listening carefully, supporting arguments with evidence, and staying respectful during disagreements. By the end of the day, discussions felt more focused and purposeful, showing how teamwork and critical thinking play a major role in shaping meaningful outcomes within the Model United Nations.
Closing debates, lasting memories — THIMUN Day 3.
The final day of THIMUN marked the conclusion of an inspiring journey filled with debate, growth, and global awareness. Committees moved into final voting procedures, where resolutions were presented, defended, and decided through formal diplomacy. The atmosphere reflected both excitement and reflection as delegates looked back on the progress made throughout the conference. Day 3 emphasized confidence in public speaking, respect for diverse viewpoints, and the value of collaboration in addressing international challenges. Ending the conference brought a strong sense of achievement and a deeper appreciation for the impact of youth voices in global discussions.
